About Rod's Garage

Located at 67 Spring St, Morristown, NJ 07960, Rod's Garage operates as an auto repair shop serving Morristown in New Jersey. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Morristown, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New Jersey vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Rod's Garage at (973) 998-8699; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Its Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 from 17 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Morristown is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Morristown is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Jose and his team were very professional and helpful when I needed emergency assistance with my car. I’m very grateful for their willingness to work after closing hours to get me back on the road!!

Went for a used tire. The guy I spoke with told me he wouldn’t balance it because they only balance used tires, which is ridiculous, but I let it go because he gave me such a great price for the tire. After I paid, I noticed the sold me a directional tire and mounted it inside out. I asked him to correct it and was told it didn’t matter because the tire was used and the orientation had no effect and proceeded to tell me why, not realizing I’m an ASE certified technician. Will it return. If you’re desperate and want cheap service, I guess this Khristopher Simpson the way to go.

Rodrigo is reliable and fast. As a tree service owner with extensive equipment requiring more than 100 tires, we work with him exclusively.
